Tomir 2.0 by NNormal: durability, strength, high performance

The footwear brand for sports and outdoor enthusiasts founded by Kilian Jornet and Camper in 2022 presents the new Tomir 2.0 model, a shoe that boasts careful improvements, starting with the choice of materials used, aimed at guaranteeing less wear and tear, and with attention to design and cushioning. One of the special features of the new Tomir 2.0 is that it has a high-strength nylon thread sewn completely around the midsole, which prevents it from delaminating to guarantee less wear. The upper material consists of a durable polyester monofilament combined with a TPE thread for exceptional abrasion resistance, lightness and breathability. In response to the demands of the community, particularly long-distance runners, NNormal paid special attention to the sole geometry of the Tomir 2.0. The aim was to make the transition natural and fluid, reducing impact and fatigue during the sporting gesture. For this reason, a wider sole was realised in the medial and rear part to improve stability and impact, while the front part has a raised scoop to speed up the transition.In addition, thanks to the injection of HO2 onto the EVA, the EExpure foam gives the Tomir 2.0 significantly more cushioning and responsiveness than its predecessor. This composite, highly resilient material also has a reduced weight compared to conventional materials, resulting in a reduced footwear weight and outstanding responsiveness with every step.

NNormal Kboix wins ISPO Award 2024

A prestigious award for the development of an absolutely innovative product that Kboix won as a new concept that aims to change the rules of the game in trail running. It is a modular shoe whose design features three interchangeable midsoles, allowing each trail runner to choose the most suitable solution. We have Kb1 Soft in supercritical EVA foam, with EExpure technology, which is lighter and stronger than traditional EVA compounds. The result is less muscle fatigue and more efficient recovery, making the run lighter and more sustained. Kb2 Reactive is suitable for when speed is of the essence or when tackling very technical terrain. It consists of a TPU supercritical foam midsole with very high rebound levels. Kb3 Bounce, finally, is perfect when you want a very responsive but still soft midsole made of PEBA supercritical foam. The Kboix is complemented by a lightweight sole that offers incredible grip, developed by Vibram: even for the new shoe, it is possible through the resole process to give your shoes an even longer life.
