'Surfing' represents the most up-to-date mood mixing the spirit of adventure, freedom of movement, challenge, exploration and technical innovation. Design, materials, shapes, volumes and colors of footwear and leather goods for the upcoming spring/summer 2024 are influenced by this trend that relies on imaginative materials, very sinuous shapes, metallic surfaces, and the upcycling of organic materials. Adventure and technique also collide in color palettes that contrast and overlap.

The trade fair for sustainable sourcing of functional fabrics and accessories concluded its winter edition last 5 October in Munich with good results, introducing a new area dedicated to footwear and integrated into the Footwear Forum.
If one moves and operates in the fashion sphere, one can never overlook aspects related to design, trends, and new proposals for future seasons. And so it is, in fact, also for the coming autumn winter 2024-25, in which many soles and structures and heels pur- sue their search for aesthetically innovative solutions by still work- ing on large volumes and aggressive designs. But in all sincerity, much more interesting and fascinating are the projects that many companies are developing that are directed to revolutionize the world of shoe soles in some way.
