Italian footwear industry: turnover and exports grow in 2022
The footwear industry in 2022 overcomes the crisis of the two-year pandemic and continues its recovery. Turnover rises to 14.49 billion euros (+14% compared to 2021), recovering 2019 levels reinvigorated by the performance of exports (+23.3% in value), driven by luxury brands.
