Alexa Rosatti of JBS Couros joins the association's Management Board
Alexa Rosatti joins the Management Board of Leather Naturally, where she will lead the communications team. Alexa was confirmed following a vote of the members in June 2024. From 2021, she has held the position of Global Communications and Marketing Coordinator at JBS Couros. Alexa also has previous experience working as a journalist, in news agencies and in marketing for multinational conglomerates.

Alexa will replace Claudia Spahr from TFL, who has led the communications activities since 2022. Debbie Burton, Chair of the Leather Naturally Management Board said: “We are thrilled that Alexa is joining the team and thank JBS Couros for supporting her in this role. Leather Naturally exists due to the passion of its volunteer board and as we welcome Alexa, we also say farewell, and a sincere thank you to outgoing Communications lead, Claudia Spahr and TFL for her time, her dedication and her inspiration over the past six years.”
With €46 million in imports and an Italian share of over 42%, the African market for leather and footwear technology continues to be a strategic growth area. To further strengthen it, Assomac and Simac Tanning Tech are building commercial and industrial bridges from Senegal to Ethiopia.
The final panel of the "Welcome to the Factory of the Future!" conference brought together leading figures from the European footwear and textile industry to discuss reindustrialisation. Between real opportunities and regulatory obstacles, the debate highlighted an uncomfortable truth: the rules of the game are not the same for everyone.
