Keep reading...On September 16, Unpac, the national association representing the leading chemical manufacturers of leather auxiliaries, formally joined Cotance as a stakeholder with the aim of strengthening collaboration throughout the supply chain.
Cotance is the European federation that brings together tanning industry associations across Europe; among them is the Italian association Unic, with which Unpac already collaborates on national and international regulatory committees.
“Unpac’s entry into Cotance represents an important step toward fostering ever-closer collaboration between the chemical and tanning industries, with the shared goal of jointly addressing the regulatory, technological, and sustainability challenges facing the sector,” explains Pierluigi Braggion, president of Unpac.
