Keep reading...ACLE 2024 opened today in Shanghai in the presence of more than a thousand exhibitors including 212 foreigners grouped into 16 national and regional collectives. As always, very significant at the Chinese leather fair was the presence of the chemical tanning sector with the participation of multinationals and major producers of chemical auxiliaries. Among tanneries, good presence from Brazil, Pakistan USA and Australia. Also noteworthy is the tanning technology area coordinated by Assomac where the leading Italian manufacturers of tannery machinery are exhibiting.
Among the most significant official events of the first day, was undoubtedly the 2nd International Tanning Industry Executive Summit entitled “Global Vision, Grasp the Future”, which gave voice to the world’s leading leather producing countries and concluded with the signing of an important memorandum of understanding between the Pakistan Tanners Association and the China Leather Industry Association (CLIA).
